The Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) is the peak professional body of clinical immunology and allergy specialists in Australia and New Zealand.

The content of ASCIA food allergy e-training has been reviewed by ASCIA members, represents the available published literature at the time of review and is not intended to replace professional medical advice. Any questions regarding a medical diagnosis or treatment should be directed to a medical practitioner.

ASCIA food allergy e-training has been developed to provide ready access to reliable and consistent food allergy education for all dietitians and other health professionals throughout Australia and New Zealand, at no charge. Initial funding for development of ASCIA food allergy e-training has been obtained from unrestricted education grants from Alphapharm, Nestle Nutrition, Nutricia, Pfizer Nutrition and Abbott Nutrition. ASCIA will retain copyright and control over content of ASCIA food allergy e-training for and update it as evidence based changes occur in the medical literature.

Whilst a Certificate of Completion for ASCIA food allergy e-training  can be provided as proof that training has been successfully completed, the certificate is not a qualification as ASCIA is not an accrediting body. ASCIA food allergy e-training is not a food allergy train the trainer course, which needs to be completed through a face to face food allergy train the trainer course.
